CHRIS (WIZZ) GEE

                      

Started writing songs and playing the harmonica over 30 years ago, 

now with a catalogue of nearly 200 songs to date.

Co-formed 'THE MARAUDERS' with ANDY SCHEMET in 1981, and played all over the country at top blues venues and festivals.

Began teaching harmonica for a brief period.

Recorded session for the 'Paul Jones -Blues on Two', BBC 2 radio show,

And shortly after released the 'Red Hot & Rocking' album, writing half of the 14 tracks.

A winner of the 'Open blues Harp' competition.

In the 90's joined 'Bare Wires'  and wrote all the material on their 1998 'Dublin Blues Festival tour', 

on this tour Chris recorded jingles to be broadcast on Irish radio

When 'Bare Wires' supported the legendary rock blues outfit from Atlanta USA 'The Georgia Satellites' they were so impressed with his harp playing they invited him up to join them for their set at the International in Manchester

In 2001 Chris played harmonica for the soundtrack of a Sony Playstation game

2003 wrote 7 of the 13 tracks on the 'EXPLOSIVE R'n'B CD.

In 2004 released the CD 'Dynamite Blues' with 'THE MARAUDERS' writing one track.
