In 1978 joined punk band 'WILFUL DAMAGE' seen below on stage at Deeply Vale (www.deeplyvale.com)with Stanny(vocals) in front of an estimated weekend crowd of 13,000 people.
Toured the UK as support to hippy band 'HERE AND NOW' and various other new wave bands including 'The FALL',
Re-opened the legendary Manchester club the 'Electric circus' with the 'DRONES', then did the last ever gig there before it closed down.

In 1980 joined 'ACCIDENT ON THE EAST LANCS', mainly played the college and pub circuit around the north west, and again at the Deeply Vale Festival,
in 1981 released a single 'Back End of Nowhere' and an LP 'Hotshots andShotguns', reissued in 2005 on Last years youth records a German label.(www.detour-records.co.uk/accident%20on%20the%20east%20lancs.htm).
Also in 1981 co-formed 'The MARAUDERS' with 'CHRIS GEE', gigging with both bands untill the break up of 'ACCIDENT' in 82.
In 86 for a short period Co-Formed 'Dirty Work' with Chris Gee, John Brett, John Dickinson'
Then back to The Marauders:
Recorded a session for the 'Paul Jones -Blues on Two', BBC 2 radio show,
And shortly after released the 'Red Hot & Rocking' album
Continuous gigging throughout the UK at most of the country's top blues clubs and festivals,
resulted in a demand for support and guest appearances by the Marauders, from such legends as Bo
Diddley, Steve Gibbons Band, Climax Blues Band, to name just a few.
The Marauders was the first act to open many a blues club including: Blackpool’s Kite Club, Fleetwood’s Blues Club, also appearing at the first Burnley and Colne festivals, the Farnham Maltings and many others.
In 1991 quit gigging until reforming 'The Marauders' in 1999, still gigging today, New CD released in 2004 'Dynamite Blues'
Brief period in 2001-02 joined 'Bare Wires' playing at The Gloucester Blues festival & The Todmorden Blues Festival
